Skeppsteknik och Marin Teknologi

Sverige har under alla tider varit en sjöfarts- och skeppsbyggnadsnation av stor betydelse. För den svenska skeppsindustrin (varvsverksamhet, offshoreutrustning, fartygsmaskineri, propulsion, etc.), rederinäringen inklusive färjetrafik är det av stor vikt att ha kännedom om, samt ges möjlighet att deltaga i pågående arbeten inom ISO för att kunna påverka det internationella standardiseringsarbetet.

Aktuellt ISO-arbete

Kommittén satsar resurser på att under 2018 bevaka ärenden som berör havsmiljön och hur den på bästa sätt kan skyddas. Ett led i detta är att Sverige nu är deltagare i ISO/TC 8/SC 2 Marine environment protection. På så sätt ges Sverige full insyn i det pågående standardiseringsarbetet och stora möjligheter till inflytande.

Om mötet i Malmö: ISO/TC 8/SC 2 Marine environment protection

ISO/TC 8/SC 2 Marine environment protection har hållits möte i Malmö 12-14 juni med syftet att arbeta med viktiga standarder inom områdena för bottenbehandling, avfallshantering och mätmetoder för axeleffektöverföring hos framdrivningssystem för fartyg.

I samband med detta möte hölls öppna seminarier under en eftermiddag, där studenter och även allmänheten fick närvara. Föredrag hölls om arbetet i kommittén, standardisering i allmänhet och om vilken nytta de framtagna standarderna gör inom detta område.

Nu söker vi fler engagerade deltagare som brinner för dessa frågor. Genom ert deltagande bidrar ni till att uppfylla mål 14 Hav och Marina resurser inom agenda 2030, FN:s globala mål för hållbar utveckling. Är du intresserad? Gör en intresseanmälan här till höger.

Några bevis för detta är ju bl.a. vikingaskeppen och vikingarnas långväga handelsresor, Sveriges sjöfartsroll under Hansatiden, oceangående fartyg i samband med Ostindieepoken på 1700-talet, båtar för transporter på kanaler, älvar och i slussar, utbredd kustsjöfart med inhemskt produktion av lämpligt tonnage, stor varvsnation såväl civilt och militärt, samt nytänkande på fartygssidan inom såväl färjesektorn som traditionell rederiverksamhet.

För den svenska skeppsindustrin (varvsverksamhet, offshoreutrustning, fartygsmaskineri, propulsion, etc.), rederinäringen inklusive färjetrafik är det av stor vikt att ha kännedom om, samt ges möjlighet att deltaga i pågående arbeten inom ISO för att kunna påverka det internationella standardiseringsarbetet.
