This standard applies to fixed ladder systems for construction works with one upright. It specifies - definitions and design specific characteristics, dimensions, and - additional requirements for ladders on chimneys and atenna supporting structures. This Standard does not apply to: - fixed shaft ladders according to DIN EN 14396, - fixed escape ladder installations according to DIN 14094-1, - fixed ladders for machinery according to DIN EN ISO 14122-4, and - stationary accesses to process apparatus according to DIN 28017 (all parts).
