This standard applies to outdoor synthetic turf areas with a filled or unfilled pile surface. It contains supplementary requirements which do not contradict DIN EN 15330-1. This standard contains requirements for the individual layers below the synthetic turf, their fillers and environmental compatibility. NOTE Synthetic turf areas allows the use of a variety of sports games. This mainly includes football, hockey, American football and tennis, for training and competition, but also school sports and other types of sports games.
