SIS held an event for developing countries’ national standard bodies on the sideline of ISO General Assembly meeting in Cape Town in September 2019.

During the event SIS Director General Annika Andreasen and SIS head of Markets Göran Blomqvist presented SIS work within international development cooperation. The Director General for Bolivia’s national standard body IBNORCA also presented on his experience from the ongoing joint SIS-IBNORCA project. Finally, the Swedish ambassador to South Africa presented on Swedish development cooperation policy.
