This document specifies the requirements for education and training to become a qualified playground inspector. This document is to be applied for the training of persons who perform the inspection after installation as well as the annual main inspection of playgrounds and playground equipment according to DIN EN 1176-7 on the basis of the relevant parts of the DIN EN 1176 series of standards (except DIN EN 1176 10) and the safety and maintenance-related requirements according to DIN 18034-1. This document is not applicable for the training of persons performing visual or operational inspections according to DIN EN 1176-7.
