DIN 77200-1 is applicable to providers, contractors and clients of security services as well as bodies which perform tests based on the requirements defined in this standard and assess the performance of the security service providers within the framework of their service according to this standard. DIN 77200-1 is also suitable to offer documentation (see 4.23) if an offer is to be issued in compliance with the requirements of this standard, even if the contractor is not certified accordingly. NOTE 1 Providers and contractors of security services are grouped under the term "security service providers" (see 3.1) in all parts of DIN 77200. NOTE 2 Requirements for the testing and conformity assessment as well as the authorities responsible for this are specified in DIN 77200-3. In DIN 77200-1, requirements and performance criteria are exclusively specified to the following security services and the executing security service providers. 1) stationary security services, in particular: - alarm service; - reception security; - inspection service; 2) mobile security services, in particular: - patrol services; - intervention service; - inspection service; 3) event security service. NOTE 3 Additional security services for special service areas are covered in DIN 77200-2. Annex A lists requirement profiles in which the characteristic activities in the context of the above-mentioned security services are to be defined with their performance characteristics on the basis of qualification requirements for security personnel. This enables a clear differentiation of the security services and provides the essential basis for the security service provider and the client to define the agreed scope of services.
