This document specifies exclusively the requirements quality conformant execution of structural, i. e. loadbearing adhesive bonds in shipbuilding, that includes new and re-built as well as the repair of ships and offshore constructions and contains structural parts as well as equipment installations. The applicable requirements which are specified in DIN EN ISO 21368 are augmented by requirements specific for shipbuilding and offshore. For these and other applications not mentioned here regulations which exceed the scope of this standard might need to be considered.
