Rörledningsprodukter och ventiler

Rörledningsprodukter och ventiler används för att transportera och styra olika typer av fluider. De återfinns inom de flesta industrier och är ofta anpassade efter branschens specifika krav.

Eftersom tekniska specifikationer och säkerhetskrav kan skapa tekniska handelshinder för export och import har brukare, tillverkare och myndigheter ett uttalat behov av standarder
med bred förankring, både nationellt och internationellt.

Kommittén för rörledningsprodukter och ventiler påverkar aktivt det tekniska innehållet i standarder och kopplingen till relevanta europeiska direktiv inom tryck- och byggområdet.

Standarderna omfattar produkter som ingår i komplexa rörledningssystem, där det ställs
krav på att alla delar är kompatibla och går att använda tillsammans. Standarderna syftar
till att produkterna ska vara säkra, ha hög teknisk kvalitet och underlätta kontakten mellan inköpare och tillverkare.

Påverka nationellt och internationellt

Kommittén skapar ett forum för svenskt agerande i den europeiska standardiseringen genom att vi aktivt medverkar i CEN och i den internationella standardiseringen genom aktiv medverkan i ISO. Eftersom flertalet standarderna är kopplade till EU-direktiv, underlättar dessa vid både tillverkning, inköp och användande av produkterna. Standardiseringsarbetet säkerställer därmed att produkterna tillverkas efter samstämmiga krav, som exempelvis inköpare kan hänvisa till redan i anbudsskedet. Ett arbete som skapar fri rörlighet och konkurrens av produkter mellan länder, vilket stödjer den svenska exporten.

 

Ett värdefullt arbete

I kommittén samlas expertkunskap genom representanter från tillverkare, föreskrivare, köpare, brukare eller övriga inom branschen. Standardiseringsarbetet ger deltagarna djupare insikt om standardernas krav och hur man tolkar dessa, vilket underlättar vid diskussion med olika parter inom branschen. Deltagarna är samtidigt med och påverkar framtidens standarder, vilket också leder till nya insikter och tidig information som kan omsättas i den egna verksamhetsutvecklingen. Framöver fokuserar kommittén bland annat på att ta fram nya och förbättra befintliga standarder för rördelar och rörflänsar kopplade till Direktivet för Tryckbärande anordningar.
