SIS is a non-profit association that is in charge of and coordinates standardisation in Sweden. SIS is a member of the European standardisation organisation CEN and the global organisation ISO, as a representative of Sweden. This means that you, as a member of SIS, are also furthering international development within your area of expertise.
If you want to influence standards and guidelines within your sector, joining SIS is the obvious choice. We coordinate everyone who has identified a need of consensus for developing products and services. Our clients are a cross-section of Sweden’s private sector and public sector organisations, including global businesses, government agencies, local authorities and county councils, trade associations and voluntary organisations. Standards facilitate trade and innovation, and increase business efficiency.
SIS is a complete supplier of everything you need within standardisation. You can participate in the development of standards, buy publications (standards and handbooks) and take training courses in areas including quality and environmental management, information security, medical technologies and machine safety.
