Vill du vara alltid uppdaterad med de nya regler (ADR, TPED, PED) och standarder som kommer? Behöver du kanske hjälp med tolkning av regelverk, föreskrifter, EU-direktiv och standarder? Vill du träffa branschen?

SIS tekniska kommitté för gasflaskor arbetar bland annat med att sprida kunskap om standarder och regler som gäller för gasflaskor, deras ventiler, tillbehör och krav angående konstruktion, tillverkning, drift och underhåll. Vi vill upprätthålla lätttillgänglighet till standarder och regler (ADR-S, TPED, PED etc) som uppdateras regelbundet. Kommittén försöker att ha en gemensam tolkning av regler.

Att upprätta dessa säkerhetskrav ger i slutänden säkra och kostnadseffektiva gasflaskor.

Standarderna för gasflaskor utarbetas för att stödja kraven i internationella regler och EU-direktiv, vilket även underlättar handeln.

Det är viktigt för branschen att utbyta erfarenheter, svårigheter och få information om inträffade olyckor. Vi har en neutral plattform där man kan diskutera och förstå var svårigheter finns samt ge sina synpunkter. Alla röster är viktiga.

Vi bevakar nya tekniker och nya utrustningar, till exempel ultraljudprovning.

Påverka nationellt och internationellt

Kommittén ger företag, myndigheter och organisationer tillfälle att påverka utformningen av europeiska och internationella standarder (bl a standarder för återkommande kontroll enligt 6.2.4 i ADR) för gasflaskor, så att innehållet i den slutliga standarden motsvarar förväntningarna på säkerhet och kostnadseffektivitet samt i tillämpliga fall stöder föreskrifterna.

Kommittén deltar aktivt i flera europeiska CEN- och internationella ISO-kommittéer:

  • CEN/TC 23 Transportable gas cylinders,
  • CEN/TC 286 Liquefied petroleum gas equipment and accessories (bara för gasflaskor),
  • ISO/TC 58 Gas cylinders.

Arbetet inom kommittén har en neutral projektledning, ni kan diskutera med kollegor från andra företag, utbyta erfarenheter inom branschen med andra experter och myndigheter. Man lär sig mycket genom att vara med i kommittén och även genom att enbart följa med i arbetet via hemsidan. Kommittén påverkar innehållet i standarder så att det passar svenska intressen.
