Maskinsäkerhet

Att hålla koll på standarderna för maskinsäkerhet kan underlätta uppfyllandet av maskindirektivets krav och därmed även CE-märkningen. Genom kommittén får du information om nya krav, möjlighet att påverka innehållet i standarderna, och chansen att knyta kontakter med de främsta experterna på området i Sverige.

Såväl maskintillverkare, maskinanvändare som säljande företag behöver uppfylla kraven på säkra maskiner. Kommittén deltar aktivt på europeisk och internationell nivå för att ta fram standarder som sätter nivån för vad som betraktas som en säker maskin. Standarderna harmoniseras mot EU:s maskindirektiv och genom att följa dessa kan man uppnå presumtion mot direktivet, vilket innebär att man förutsätts uppfylla direktivets krav.

Deltagarna i maskinsäkerhetskommittén har tillgång till den senaste informationen inom området. Genom att vara väl uppdaterad underlättas implementeringen av standarderna och arbetet med CE-märkning.

Genom direkt deltagande i arbetsgrupper eller via SIS för vi fram de svenska deltagarnas synpunkter i det europeiska (CEN) och internationella (ISO) standardiseringsarbetet. Det främjar och stödjer den svenska industrin.

Deltagarna har också tillgång till ett neutralt forum där kunder, konkurrenter, leverantörer, användare, konsulter och myndigheter möts och kan diskutera tolkningar och utbyta erfarenheter. Standarderna är skrivna för maskintillverkare men underlättar även för användare vid t.ex. inköp och upphandling.

Kommittén för maskinsäkerhet är öppen för alla intressenter inom området, och finansieras framför allt genom avgifter från deltagarna. Läs mer om kommittéarbete här.
