Betong

Betong är ett av våra vanligaste byggmaterial, till exempel för konstruktion av bostäder, kontor, industrier, viadukter och broar. Det innebär att de samhällsekonomiska värden som består av betongkonstruktioner är mycket stora och berör många intressenter. Standardiseringsarbetet inom betongområdet är därmed av stor vikt, både tekniskt och ekonomiskt, för byggsektorn såväl samhället. Inte minst då möjligheten att välja olika betongkvaliteter för skilda ändamål är stor, liksom formbarheten och beständigheten. Många faktorer inverkar alltså på den färdiga betongens egenskaper. Trots att betong är starkt, behöver betongkonstruktioner också underhållas, repareras och/eller förstärkas förr eller senare. SIS/TK 190 Betong arbetar för att påverka och utveckla nationella och internationella standarder för arbetet med betong, underhåll, reparation och förstärkning av betong.

Standardiseringsarbetet inom betong och betongreparationer pågår på nationell nivå och speglas till huvudsak på europeisk nivå (CEN). I pågående CEN-arbete är det således viktigt att svenska synpunkter och erfarenheter beaktas. Kommittén verkar för användning av funktionskrav och funktionsprovningar. Av särskild vikt är beständighetsfrågan, i synnerhet beständigheten i nordiskt klimat.

Grundstommen i kommitténs arbetsprogram är produktstandarden EN 206 Betong - Fordringar, egenskaper, tillverkning och överensstämmelse och tillhörande nationell tillämpningsstandard SS 137003 Betong - Användning av EN 206 i Sverige. Produktstandarden omfattar klassificering av betong, krav på hårdnad och färsk betong, samt krav på delmaterial i betong. Den hänvisar i sin tur till provningsmetoder för uppfyllande av krav som anges.

Arbetsprogrammet omfattar också utförandestandarden EN 13670 Betongkonstruktioner - Utförande och tillhörande nationell tillämpningsstandard SS 137006 Betongkonstruktioner - Utförande - Tillämpning av SS-EN 13670:2009 i Sverige.

SIS/TK 190/AG 01 - Betongreparationer

Denna arbetsgrupp arbetar aktivt med standardisering av betongreparationer på europeisk nivå. De svenska intressena har varit att verka för att vissa metoder standardiseras och/eller standardiseras på ett bra sätt. Vi har gjort stora insatser i arbetet med angivandet av lämpliga åtgärdsmetoder beroende på skadeorsak. Vidare verkar vi för att man inte ska behöva prova mer än nödvändigt och att provningsmetoderna ska vara enklare och mer kostnadseffektiva. Huvudfokus just nu är kommande översyner och revideringar av standardserien SS-EN 1504 Betongkonstruktioner - Produkter och system för skydd och reparation som finns i tio delar.

SIS/TK 190/AG 02 - Naturliga puzzolaner

Denna arbetsgrupp arbetar just nu med att ta fram en nationell standard för naturliga puzzolaner, som är ett tillsatsmaterial i cement. Den nationella standarden baseras på en norsk och brittisk nationell standard och planeras vara klar 2023/2024. SIS/TK 190/AG 06 - Ad Hoc grupp certifieringsordning till SS 137003

Denna arbetsgrupp arbetar just nu med att ta fram två tekniska specifikationer, SIS/TS 42 Betong – Utbildning i fabriksbetongtillverkning och produktionsstyrning enligt SS 137003 – Krav på utbildning och utbildningsgivare och SIS/TS 43 Bedömning av överenstämmelse – Utbildning i fabriksbetongtillverkning och produktionsstyrning enligt SIS/TS 42 – Certifieringsordning. Dessa två dokument ska komplettera SS 137003:2021 Betong - Användning av SS-EN 206:2013+A2:2021 i Sverige och beräknas publiceras hösten 2023.

Standardiseringen bedrivs huvudsakligen inom den europeiska standardiseringsorganisationen CEN. Europastandarderna inom betongområdet har en väsentlig teknisk och ekonomisk betydelse för många inom byggsektorn. Detta gäller även för hela vårt samhälle eftersom stora ekonomiska värden investeras i betongkonstruktioner. I pågående CEN-arbete är det således viktigt att svenska synpunkter och erfarenheter tillräckligt beaktas. Beständighetsfrågan, och då särskilt beständigheten i nordiskt klimat, är av särskilt stort intresse för oss framöver. Generellt sett verkar vi för användning av funktionskrav/funktionsprovningar i stället för deskriptiva krav.

Påverka det europeiska och globala standardiseringsarbetet

Kommittén skapar ett forum för svenskt agerande i den europeiska standardiseringen, genom att vi aktivt medverkar i den europeiska standardiseringsorganisationen CEN. Eftersom standarderna är kopplade till EU-direktivet, underlättar dessa vid både tillverkning, inköp och användande av produkterna. Standardiseringsarbetet säkerställer därmed att produkterna tillverkas efter samstämmiga krav, som exempelvis föreskrivare kan hänvisa till redan i anbudsskedet. Ett arbete som skapar fri rörlighet och konkurrens av produkter mellan länder, vilket stödjer den svenska exportmarknaden.

Ett värdefullt arbete

I kommittén samlas expertkunskap genom representanter från tillverkare, föreskrivare, köpare, brukare eller övriga inom branschen. Standardiseringsarbetet ger deltagarna djupare insikt om standardernas krav och hur man resonerar kring dessa, vilket underlättar vid diskussion med olika parter inom branschen. Deltagarna är samtidigt med och påverkar framtidens standarder, vilket också leder till nya insikter och tidig information som kan omsättas i den egna verksamhetsutvecklingen.
