Personlig skyddsutrustning – Andning, Hörsel, Ögon

Personlig skyddsutrustning inom området för andningsorganet, hörseln och ögonen är brett, med både professionell användning och privat bruk.

Kommittén är indelad i fyra arbetsgrupper (AG):  

AG 01 Hörselskydd  

Hörselskydd som omfattas ska skydda när ljudexponeringen förväntas vara skadlig för örat. Området innefattar även testsystem för bestämning av skyddens prestanda. Viktiga aspekter är också att det säkerställs möjligheter till bra kommunikation samt att kunna höra varningssignaler.

AG 02 Ögonskydd 

Omfattar standarder om skydd mot skador som kan uppstå på grund av strålning, värme, vätskor och fasta partiklar.Ett brett spektrum av ögonskydd omfattas av standardiseringsarbetet. Allt från solglasögon och solskyddsfilter till ansiktsskärmar för exempelvis svetsning samt visir på skyddshjälmar och visir inom vårdsektorn ingår.

AG 03 Andningsskydd 

Standarderna om andningsskydd omfattar allt från filtrerande engångs-kvartsmasker till halvmasker och fläktmatade helmasker, samt flykthuvor. Området innefattar även exempelvis tillpassningstester.

AG 04 Dykapparater  

Dykapparater kategoriseras som personlig skyddsutrustning. Standarder finns bland annat för gaser, öppna och slutna andningssystem, återandningsapparater (rebreathers), gasflaskventiler samt ytförsörjd dykning. Ett fokus är att standarderna uppfyller svenska krav och är anpassade till nordiska förhållanden med kalla vatten. Såväl vatten- som kem- och rökdykning ingår.

  • Gasflaskor (SIS/TK 296): gasflaskor, återkommande kontroll m.m.
  • Anestesi- och respiratorutrustning (SIS/TK 329): tryckkammare, medicinska gassystem
  • Skyddskläder (SIS/TK 402): dykardräkter
  • Sport och fritid (SIS/TK 554): dykutrustning; avvägningsvästar, djupmätare, masker m.m. samt utbildning av dykare, dykledare, gasblandare m.fl.

Arbetsgivare måste testa att andningsskydd håller tätt

Den 1 januari 2025 gäller preciserade krav för andningsskydd, för att vara säker på att de faktiskt skyddar så som de ska göra. Till dess måste arbetsgivare ha sett till att tätsittande andningsskydd är individuellt testade. Till hjälp finns standardiserade metoder.
