Lantbrukssprutor

Spridning av bekämpningsmedel och växtskyddsmedel innebär en risk för miljön. SIS/TK 224 utvecklar standarder för maskiner och utrustning som bidrar till säker och effektiv spridning, minskad miljöpåverkan och ett mer effektivt resursutnyttjande.

Vad är standardisering av lantbrukssprutor?

Lantbrukssprutor används för att sprida växtskyddsmedel och växtnäring inom jordbruket. Gemensamma standarder bidrar till säkrare och effektivare användning genom krav på utrustningens konstruktion, funktion, dosering och avdriftsreducering. Standarderna hjälper användare, tillverkare och myndigheter att säkerställa att rätt mängd sprids på rätt plats med minsta möjliga påverkan på människor och miljö.

Standarder som används i vardagen

Standarderna för lantbrukssprutor innehåller gemensamma provningsmetoder för bland annat vindavdrift, droppstorlek, flöde och spridningsjämnhet. Metoderna används för att utveckla och utvärdera utrustning samt som underlag för riskvärdering och godkännande av växtskyddsmedel. Ett exempel är Hjälpredans spridartabeller, som bygger på dessa standarder och hjälper användaren att välja rätt utrustning, uppnå en jämn dosering och minska risken för avdrift.

Kommitténs arbete

Kommittén följer och påverkar utvecklingen av europeiska och internationella standarder inom bland annat:

  • miljö- och säkerhetskrav för sprututrustning
  • metoder för funktionstest och kontroll av utrustning i bruk
  • provnings- och mätmetoder
  • dosering och spridningsjämnhet
  • klassificering av avdriftsreducerande teknik
  • terminologi och tekniska definitioner
Delta och påverka

Genom att delta i SIS/TK 224 kan lantbrukare, myndigheter, företag, forskningsinstitut och andra intressenter påverka utvecklingen av standarder för lantbrukssprutor på nationell och internationell nivå. Som deltagare får du tidig insyn i teknikutveckling, kommande standarder och framtida krav samtidigt som du samverkar med andra aktörer inom området och stärker din organisations kompetens.

Påverka nationellt och internationellt

Kommittén deltar aktivt i det internationella arbetet inom ISO/TC 23/SC 6 Equipment for crop protection och dess arbetsgrupper. Kommittén följer och påverkar även det europeiska arbetet inom CEN/TC 144 Tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry. Genom deltagande i kommittén får experter möjlighet att bidra till utvecklingen av framtida standarder och föra fram erfarenheter från branschen.
