This document specifies a procedure for measuring vibrations using the vibration meters defined in DIN 45669-1. It establishes general principles for the selection of measuring positions and measuring directions as well as for the standardized procedure of measurements in the context of immission protection. The quantities determined according to this document are applicable for the assessment of vibration exposure on structures and people in buildings.
