This document specifies requirements for the waterproofing types for the waterproofing of non-utilized and utilized roofs against rainwater as well as for their execution, including the securing of the position and the detailed design. In conjunction with DIN 18531-1, DIN 18531-2 and DIN 18531-4, this document is applicable for the planning and execution of the waterproofing of roofs during new construction, maintenance and renovation.
