This document applies to roller contact tipper vehicles up to 26 t, loading devices and roller container. The height of the receiving device is 1570 mm (system 1570). This document specifies: - requirements (including approval) for roller contact tipper vehicles; - requirements for the interchangeable loading devices; - requirements for roller containers. Hooklift vehicles consist of an interchangeable loader device (see 5.3) and a chassis, and are used to transport roll-off containers as in 5.4. The interchangeable loader device is used to place roll-off containers onto hooklift vehicles, and to remove and empty such containers. The roll-off containers are used to hold materials for transport. The specifications for interchangeable loader devices and roll-off containers in this document ensure the interchangeability of roll-off containers.
