The document amends the standard DIN 5009 in such a way that, together with the main standard all names and spelling announcements for the following letters, punctuation marks and special characters are provided: latin letters, combining diacritical characters and non-letters as listed in DIN 91379; keyboard input characters (with the exception of characters intended only for special mathematical applications) and key combinations as listed in DIN 2137-1:2022.
