The document describes requirements and test methods for jumping cushions for rescue of human lives, usable up to about 16 m rescue height. The amendment to the standard is made in order to update the normative references. DIN 54333-1 has been withdrawn without replacement, but is still necessary for testing jumping cushions. This fact is pointed out with this new consolidated edition of the standard.
