This standard specifies requirements for fire brigade control panel and establishes principles for their conformity testing and marking. Fire brigade control panels are used for connection to the voice alarm control and indicating equipment according to DIN EN 54-16. It displays certain operating states of the voice alarm system in a uniform form. And it provides an ergonomic and uniform operation of relevant functions as well as the recording of live fire announcements in the event of an alarm and during function tests for the fire brigade, even without the involvement of the operator of the voice alarm system.
