Brand och räddning

I takt med att säkerhetsmedvetandet ökar ställs allt högre krav på att nationell, europeisk och internationell standardisering utarbetar gemensamma standarder. Arbetet i kommittén Brand och räddning syftar till att utveckla standarder som medverkar till att förbygga och minska skadorna på människor, egendom och miljö vid bränder. SIS/TK 360:s övergripande vision är att skapa gemensamma krav på produkter och provningsmetoder samt att undanröja handelshinder för att få en bättre inre marknad inom hela Europa.

SIS/TK 360 är organiserad som en övergripande kommitté, samtidigt som man arbetar inom flera olika ämnesspecifika arbetsgrupper som i sin tur bevakar olika områden. Dessa speglar de europeiska tekniska kommittéerna inom CEN (se information om organisation nedan). Standardiseringsarbetet ger möjlighet till samverkan mellan privata och offentliga aktörer samt möjlighet att påverka utvecklingen av standarder samt medverka till att de överensstämmer med svenska intressen.

Målet med projektet är att; 

  • Medverka till att ta fram standarder för skydd som ger en acceptabel skyddsnivå.
  • Påverka utformningen av standarder som styr skyddens kvalitet, funktion och säkerhet.
  • Medverka till en ökad användning av standarderna på den svenska marknaden.
  • Att lyfta och få in svenska intressenters krav i europeiska standarder.
