Innemiljö och energianvändning i byggnader

Byggnader svarar för cirka 40 procent av energianvändningen inom EU. I såväl nya som befintliga hus finns stora möjligheter till energieffektivisering och förbättrad innemiljö. Denna kommitté arbetar med klassnings-, beräknings- och provningsmetoder för hela byggnader, byggprodukter och installationer samt produktstandarder för isolermaterial och installationsprodukter. Kommittén arbetar såväl med nationella standarder som internationella standarder inom CEN och ISO.

Den primära målsättningen med kommittén ”Innemiljö och energianvändning i byggnader”, SIS/TK 189, är att ta fram hjälpmedel  för att bedöma en byggnads och dess ingående komponenters energianvändning samt bidra till energieffektivisering och att säkerställa god innemiljö för brukarna. Hur bygg- och installationsteknik samspelar i byggnaden är grundläggande för att byggnaden ska fungera väl som helhet, detta samordnas i standarderna i ett övergripande perspektiv. Produktion och tillförsel av energi, som ligger utanför byggnaden eller anläggningen, ingår dock inte i kommitténs arbete.
