Lättmetaller

Aluminium har en mycket kort historia i jämförelse med järn, koppar, zink, bly och tenn. Det första aluminiumstycket visades på Parisutställningen år 1855. Allt sedan dess ökar tillverkningen stadigt varje år. Aluminiumlegeringar är nu den näst efter stål mest använda metallen.

Projektet Lättmetaller, SIS/TK 129 behandlar standardisering inom området obearbetade, bearbetade och gjutna produkter av aluminium och aluminiumlegeringar, magnesium och titan. Exempel på detta är:

  •  materialspecifikationer
  •  tekniska leveransbestämmelser
  •  dimensioner och toleranser
  •  specifika provningsmetoder
  •  aluminium och magnesiumskrot
  •  anodisering

Projektet ska aktivt medverka vid framtagning av internationell och europastandard i första hand inom CEN/TC 132 för aluminium i syfte att verka för att standarderna svarar mot svenska behov.
