Currency
The official currency is the Swedish Krona (SEK). Bank notes come in 1 000, 500, 100, 50 and 20 denominations; coins come in 10, 5, 1 and 0,50 denominations.
Exchange rates at the time of printing:

USD 1 = SEK 10,50
EUR 1 = SEK 9,15

Foreign currency and travellers’ cheques can be exchanged at any bank at the airport and in most large hotels.
Most major credit cards are accepted in the majority of hotels, restaurants and shops.

NOTE: Sweden is not part of the Euro zone
