This standard specifies the test method to establish the ultra violet (UV) laser marking performance of
aerospace wire and cable for use in conjunction with UV laser wire marking systems in accordance with TR 4543 “UV laser wire marking systems for aircraft wire and cable identification” and EN 3475-100 “Aerospace series — Cables, electrical, aircraft use — Test methods — Part 100: General”.
