SIS in school and university

Students

Wherever you are, you are surrounded by standards. Using your mobile phone, driving a car, cooking food, watching a film, taking a photo – almost whatever you do depends on standards to function. Life would be quite difficult without them.

This is the sort of thing SIS (Swedish Standards Institute) does. In collaboration with companies and organizations in Sweden and elsewhere, we work constantly to simplify, improve, assure the quality of and create joint standards.

As a student, epecially if studying technology, you often come across standards. For those who may be interested in knowing more about standards and standardization, we have compiled some data that may help. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions info@sis.se
