SIS offers a wide range of courses on subjects such as management systems, business development, machine safety, construction and medical technology. Whatever the area and target group, the focus is always on the pragmatic benefits of standards. The goal is to ensure that you, as participant, gain the maximum benefit from your training investment.

Our courses will keep you updated on what is happenung in your field. Proximity to the international organizations CEN and ISO adds further relevance and quality to our courses. Choose from some 50 different courses in a wide range of areas.

Our training activities are based on your needs and wishes. This means we offer everything from breakfast seminars to workshops, conferences and courses that extend over several days. We also offer different levels, depending on whether you are a beginner or already have a substantial grasp of the subject. Quite simply, you choose the level and course that suits you best.

Our instructors are highly experienced in their respective fields. They know what is important to focus on to extract the maximum benefit from standardization in a specific area. As well as knowing how standards are best applied in practice, many are also experienced in standards development. We place stringent demands on the instructor’s practical experience in implementing and compliance with standards.

Various types of course

Our courses can other be open to all or company specific. Our open courses are offered in the formats cited below, while company-specific courses are tailored to meet individual requirements. The open courses are offered in different formats, depending on content and purpose:

• course, one or two days, maximum of 25 participants
• workshop, one or two days, maximum of 25 participants
• conference, greater number of participants and several instructors.

Where SIS courses are held

The majority of our courses are held at the SIS Conference Centre on Sankt Paulsgatan 6, in the heart of Stockholm. Only ten minutes by underground to Slussen from Stockholm Central (the green or red line). We also hold courses in other parts of Sweden.
